A 14-year-old boy drowned while swimming in Lake Tonetta in Southeast, according to multiple sources.
The incident took place around 9 p.m. Sunday when several teens were swimming off a floating dock at a neighborhood beach on Shore Drive, officials said.
Divers from Mahopac Falls found the teen about 45 minutes after receiving the call that he had not resurfaced. The unidentified teen from Southeast was transported to Putnam Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
